CITY MARKET MANAGER (full-time)
Lansing Entertainment & Public Facilities Authority (LEPFA) — an independent agency of the City of Lansing responsible for the management of Lansing Center, Cooley Law School Stadium, Lansing City Market, and the production & management of community events — seeks a dynamic individual to fill the LANSING CITY MARKET MANAGER position at the beautiful LANSING CITY MARKET.
Position is responsible for the management, coordination, and supervision of daily City Market business and operational activities with emphasis on vendor/business owner management and recruitment/retention. Employee/Intern supervision, management of event production, facility operations, custodial, maintenance, grounds and related contractual services, oversight experience preferred.
Knowledge of Market management best practices and Market oversight preferred. Event management/coordination, building maintenance processes and scheduling systems knowledge including HVAC and electrical desired.
Ability to successfully interact with diverse vendors, staff and clientele necessary. Software skills desired include: Outlook, Excel (spreadsheets), Microsoft Office/Word and internet. Proficient oral and written communication skills required. Position requires irregular schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Four-year degree preferred. Salary range $31,500 - $35,000 commensurate with education & experience. Benefits package provided.

ON-CALL FACILITY WORKER (part-time)
This position is to provide assistance in an on-call, as need basis for the facility. As an on-call facility worker some of your duties will include room set-up/tear down, perform, custodial duties such as cleaning of restrooms, maintaining interior and exterior of facilities.
EVENT STAFF (on-call/part-time)
This position is required to work flexible weekday, evening and weekend hours. There is no minimum hour guarantee. These positions work at the Lansing Center and Cooley Law School Stadium and are based on event schedules. Available positions are for supervisors, ticket takers, door guards and ushers.
BANQUET SERVER (part-time)
Part-time banquet servers are needed for Lansing Center. Position requires: ability to interact with guests and co-workers in a courteous, cooperative and professional manner; a positive attitude/ demeanor and superior customer service skills. Prior food and beverage experience required.
Ability to frequently lift 25-pound trays is required as well as the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time. Candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
Hours vary based on events and may include weekends, holidays and evenings. Must be available some nights and weekends. Pay $9.28 per hour.
